Some thoughts about the process of getting well.
GETTING WELL
Before getting well it is necessary to understand how the human body gets ill. Through my years of study and practice in complementary therapy, I have come to a fairly simple view of health and disease. Disease is caused by a combination of two things:
TOXICITY and DEFICIENCY.
TOXICITY Toxins are many and various. Trouble is caused by not one toxin, but a combination of toxins building up over years coupled with deficiencies. A broad category of toxins are: Chemical- External e.g. insecticides, household cleaners, cosmetics, soap, toothpaste, food additives, drugs, vaccines, chemicals in water, air pollutants etc. Internal- made in the body e.g. excess adrenalin, hormones, dead cells etc. Hereditary/genetic Emotional- stress, worry, anger, insult, grief etc. Perverse energy- electromagnetic, electricity, geopathic, radiation (from computers, mobile phones, TV, x-rays, aeroplanes, power lines etc). Bacteria/Virus/Parasites/Fungi
DEFICIENCY of: Nutrients Exercise Sunlight Water Rest Love There are many components of the journey to Good health: Good diet Cutting down on toxins Adequate water intake Adequate exercise Possible change in life style, e.g. meditation, relationships, work, living environment Spirituality Nutritional supplements Homeopathy Flower Essences Other Complementary therapies We will work together addressing the above issues. Please remember the journey to good health is a process. Getting well is not about taking or doing one thing. It involves a certain amount of commitment on your part.
It is not always easy but can be very interesting and rewarding.
